Creon actually came home in time to see Cuphead on his way to seek Quadratus. She stops him and gets the whole story about how he stole the Devil’s pitchfork, and how the Devil kidnapped Mugman in retaliation. She was furious, but held off on scolding Cuphead. They both seek Quadratus and then descend to Hell. I’d say here Mugman was not as calm and care-free during his imprisonment and the Devil kept taunting Mugman with Cuphead’s final words and how little his own brother cared for him. Mugman didn’t have a good time.

I’d say maybe Creon caused a giant distraction so the Devil, making it easier for Cuphead to find and rescue Mugman. Everything would almost follow the 2nd half of the “Devil’s Revenge” episode. Cuphead was able to trade the pitchfork back for Mugman, the Devil immediately attempted to attack the cup bros. Creon managed to interfere with the giant spoon she found lying around. All three escape right after Creon managed to win a fight against the Devil. It was not an easy fight for both.

Over a short period of time Creon was able to attune the spoon that she could summon it out whenever. And it’s a perfect counter to the Devil’s pitchfork. TBH I feel like the fight wold be somewhat similar to this without the singing and they are trying to kill each other.
